Booking Information

Booking me  to photograph your family, pets, children, or event is easy.  On this page you will find answers to most of your questions, so please take a moment to look it over, then either submit a booking form, email me, or call to get your event booked and on the calendar.

Am I  available?

The first step in booking me for your event is to check my online calendar and make sure that I’m available for your event. Simply click the link below to visit my calendar page and check the date you have in mind to see if I have anything already on my calendar for the appropriate time.

Event Photography

I will come to your event and roam around capturing photos of attendees and special moments at your event.  Please let me  know of any special things scheduled during the event that you specifically want captured so I  can plan to be in position in time to capture the moment.  Once your event is over, I  will process your photos and post all of them to an online gallery for viewing with various purchase options. I will get the photos finished as as quickly as possible, but be aware that post processing can take up to a week depending on the number of photos taken and the number of events scheduled.  For travel rates, please refer to the section below.

There is a one hour minimum per booking for Event Photography. The booking may be extended in half hour increments after the first hour. The rate for Event Photography is $125.00 per hour and $65.00 per half hour.

Portrait Photography

What is location photography?  I don’t have a studio where we can meet and shoot your portraits, so instead, I will come to your home or meet you at some other location to shoot your photos.  Location photography gives us the option of choosing from a large variety of scenic locations to stage your photos.  It also gives us the opportunity to shoot the photos at your home, which is great for making children and pets more at ease and comfortable for the session.  Great places for locations include local parks, dog parks, botanical gardens, farms, and more.

I will get in touch with you to discuss the details of the session such as location, expectations, and other pertinent information necessary prior to your session to ensure that the shoot is successful.  On the scheduled date, I will meet you at your house, a local park, or any other venue for your portrait session.  Please be aware that some venues require a license and/or a fee for commercial photography on their grounds.  I will verify if these are required, let you know the cost, and the fees will be added to your total.  For travel fees, please refer to the travel fee section below.

There is a half hour minimum for Portrait Photography. The rate for Portrait Photography is $65.00 per half hour and $125.00 per hour.

Payment Options

A booking fee of twenty percent of the total is required to hold the date on my calendar.  I will send you an invoice through PayPal so you can pay this fee online with a credit card.  If your event is a company, school, or church event, you can mail a company check for the booking.  The booking fee will be deducted from the total, and the balance will be due at the event.  Payment of the balance can be made with a company check, credit card, cash, or through PayPal.  If you wish to pay the balance through PayPal, please let me know in advance and I will send an invoice for the balance.  A PayPal invoice for the balance must be paid prior to my arrival at your event.

Travel Fees

I am based in the middle of the Dallas – Fort Worth metroplex and will travel anywhere. If your event is more than 25 miles from us one-way, there may be a travel fee added to your total of $1.00 per mile. This fee is charged for the total distance one way, and is to help compensate for the extra time spent traveling to and from your event when we could be working other events. For events more than 45 miles from us there is a 2 hour minimum booking, and for events more than 90 miles from us there is a 3 hour minimum booking. If your event is more than 180 miles away you will be charged the daily rate of $750.00 because your event is now an all day event with travel time and up to 4 hours of included photography time. Airfare and hotel expenses for events requiring overnight stays are not included in the daily rate and will be added to the total due.
